- Run time: 1 hour and 44 minutes without the Q and A. 2 hours and 33 minutes with the Q and A.
- Recommendation: 8/10. Kris Jenner’s insights into building a successful business empire, combined with practical advice on brand recognition and market differentiation, make it a must for aspiring entrepreneurs and influencers.
I must admit, I went into this course with limited knowledge of who Kris Jenner actually is.
While I’ve heard of her name and recognized her as part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, my idea of her was superficial. I don’t “keep up with the Kardashians” and have no real reason to, and only caught occasional glimpses of their headlines in tabloids and social media.
So I entered Kris Jenner’s MasterClass with an open mind, unaffected by outside perspectives. I’ve always wanted to know how to develop my personal brand, and who else should I turn to if not Kris Jenner herself—the matriarch of a family known for their unparalleled success in branding and business?
As I went through one lesson after another, I was struck by Kris’s down-to-earth approach and anecdotal teaching style, which I liked.
Some of her advice was pretty vague, “follow your instincts,” “work hard,” etc., but others were refreshingly insightful and practical. They offered fresh perspectives on branding that I hadn’t considered before.
In this Kris Jenner MasterClass review, I’ll give you a summary of the lessons, share what I liked and disliked, and ultimately help you decide if this MasterClass is worth your investment.

About Kris Jenner
Even if you’re not well-versed in the world of luxury brands and celebrity culture, you’d be hard-pressed to not hear Kris Jenner’s at least name in passing. She’s a prominent figure in the entertainment and fashion industry and belongs to one of the world’s most influential families.
Kris Jenner is a savvy businesswoman and Kardashian “momager.” She’s best known for her role in Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which catapulted her family to global stardom.
In 1978, Kris Jenner married Robert Kardashian, a prominent defence lawyer, and had four children: Rob, Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim. In her second marriage, she married Olympian Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) and two other children: Kendall and Kylie.
Throughout her career, Kris Jenner played a pivotal role in launching over 15 businesses bearing the Kardashian-Jenner name, including Kylie Cosmetics, Skims, and many others. She’s also the CEO of the Jenner Communications production company.
Suffice it to say that Kris Jenner’s business acumen and ability to turn opportunities into thriving ventures is nothing short of remarkable.
The adage “the devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder,” summarizes her work ethic perfectly. She’s like the Energizer Bunny of hard work—she just keeps going and going.
What does Kris Jenner’s MasterClass promise?
So, did Kris Jenner’s MasterClass live up to my expectations? I’ll cover that at the end of the review (skip ahead if you want to find out).
But first, let’s talk about what’s probably on your mind: What sets Jenner’s MasterClass apart from others in the field? What exactly does her MasterClass promise?
I’ll let Kris Jenner do the talking: “I’ll teach you my key steps to building and maintaining a personal brand, with plenty of my secret sauce on the side.”
In a nutshell, Kris Jenner’s MasterClass gives you exclusive access to some of her knowledge and experience in the realm of business and entrepreneurship.
Her MasterClass touches on various aspects of personal branding, including logos, packaging, and retail.
She generously sprinkles the lessons with jokes and humor, making the course all the more engaging and memorable. Her light-hearted approach to the topic makes the learning experience not as daunting as I initially thought.
How much does Kris Jenner’s MasterClass cost?
You can access Kris Jenner’s MasterClass with a MasterClass subscription, which costs $120 to $240 annually, depending on the package you’ve chosen. This subscription gives you unlimited access to 180+ MasterClasses, including Kris Jenner’s.
Here are the prices, billed annually:
- Individual: $120 per year ($10 per month)
- Duo: $180 per year ($15 per month)
- Family: $240 per year ($20 per month)
MasterClass has yet to offer individual class subscriptions and monthly subscriptions. But considering what the annual packages offer, I’d say this is a fantastic deal.
In terms of content access, the Individual Plan is no different than the Family Plan. Both give you unlimited access to MasterClass’s content.
The only difference between the packages is how many people can access and watch in the account at a time. The Duo plan lets you stream Jenner’s MasterClass on two different devices simultaneously, while the Family Plan lets you do so in six.
Personally, I’m subscribed to the Individual package. I average about one class per month, meaning that I pay around $10 per class.

Lesson summary
Kris Jenner is an extremely polished presenter; her wording is crisp and to the point, no fluff or unnecessary jargon.
She’s quite likable, and her teaching style feels genuine and credible. You can tell that she’s got lots of experience dealing with followers, taking products to the market, and partnering up with other people’s brands.
She’s not scripted; she just really knows her stuff.
Throughout the course, Kris Jenner teaches you how to find and define your personal brand, identify, target, and connect with your audience, and monetize your brand through social media.
She also discusses the key differences between social media platforms (i.e., Instagram vs. TikTok), and techniques for generating maximum likes, engagement, and comments.
Side Note: I recommend working through the workbook alongside the video lessons, rather than watching the course in one sitting and then backtracking and re-watching. Take the time to reflect and engage with the workbook to maximize the learning experience.
What I loved most about this course was that it encourages and motivates you to pursue your personal brand with confidence.
Kris Jenner’s go-getter attitude and energy is infectious. She’s all about getting yourself out there, testing things, doing product launches, and going bigger if it sells.
She uses lots of anecdotal studies and talks about herself quite a bit, which I didn’t mind since her stories always had some great takeaways.
My fast-track lesson plan
Although two hours of video lessons isn’t a huge time commitment, I created a fast-track collection for those looking for an abbreviated lesson plan for Kris Jenner’s MasterClass. I found these lessons to be the most impactful and worth a focused review.
- Create Your Personal Branding Story – 10:14
- Social Media: Owning It – 10:57
- Visual Storytelling – 9:09
- Monetize Your Brand – 12:27
Total Length: 42 minutes and 47 seconds
Key Things I Learned
Kris Jenner’s MasterClass doesn’t delve into the granular aspects of content production.
It doesn’t teach you how to, say, navigate the nuances of social media or the technical steps you need to take to launch your enterprise.
It isn’t an in-depth, comprehensive course with a high level of interactivity.
Instead, it focuses on providing you with a strategic foundation for personal branding. I found this more valuable because tactics on content creation change over time.
The course taught me how to understand the needs, preferences, and desires of my target audience, and how to build a brand around it.
It also taught me the importance of crafting a compelling personal brand narrative. To reiterate Kris’s words: your story is what connects you with your audience on a deeper level and makes your brand memorable.
Below are a few key learnings that stood out during the MasterClass
- The key to success lies in identifying what you love and finding a way to make a living from it. Once you’ve found what you love, you need to cultivate it with dedication while also embracing adaptability and readiness to navigate change.
- Instead of copying someone, it’s far more effective to brainstorm your strongest skills and align them with a suitable business opportunity.
- Be open to constructive criticism. Don’t surround yourself with people who consistently echo your views or opinions, as diverse perspectives offer fresh insights into the ever-evolving market.
Things I liked about Kris Jenner’s MasterClass
I enjoyed Kris Jenner’s MasterClass far more than I initially thought. The class was structured in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Kris’s energy and passion were palpable throughout the course, making the lessons not only informative but also inspiring.
With my business background, I usually lean towards comprehensive, data-driven approaches rather than anecdotal or self-reflective ones.
However, Kris Jenner’s MasterClass struck a balance between personal philosophies and real-life examples. She talks a lot about looking inside yourself and teaches you the characteristics that make a top-tier businesswoman.
Kris’s advice was honest and actionable; her tips were practical and concrete. They were something anyone could do, regardless of whether you’re well-versed in the world of business.
In lesson 9, “Kardashian Jenner Family Brands,” Kris delves further into how she and her children embarked on their brand ventures. I expected her to talk about her luxury brands, but she surprised me when she mentioned that she endorsed a cleaning brand named Safely.
Her reason? She likes cleaning. That’s what she does every single weekend, all weekend long, whenever she has a day off—or so she claims.
Some of her friends and business partners approached her about being a founder of a cleaning company, and she thought, “You know what? That’s right up my alley.”
Safely isn’t some luxury designer clothing line that she was trying to make accessible; it was just a regular cleaning brand that resonated with her personal interests.
It goes to show that pursuing a business opportunity that aligns with your interests can lead to unexpected and successful ventures, even if it doesn’t align or is unrelated to your industry.
My favorite quotes from Kris Jenner’s MasterClass
“Be real and true to yourself. Don’t make up this drama-filled lifestyle to be popular on social media. Be creative and make amazing, fruitful content that has a lot of what you want to say and figure out ways to resonate with the people that follow you.”
“Visual storytelling is a really important part of your social media platform and your experience, because that’s what’s really going to capture the attention of someone scrolling.”
“It’s all about communication. You have something that you want to share, and you want to be able to communicate that to other people so they become interested in it.”
“It’s really exciting and supportive to be attracted to someone who’s already doing [something], but it’s even more exciting to be able to discover something that hasn’t been done yet.”
“I am all about taking chances. And I think that if you have an inclination to develop your own brand, have a personal brand—and why not see what happens? See where it takes you. See what your chapter is, what your journey is.”
Things I didn’t like about the Kris Jenner MasterClass
There isn’t a whole lot I disliked about Kris Jenner’s MasterClass. It was well made, polished, and informative—qualities that I value in an online course.
But if I had to nitpick, one aspect I could go without is that she occasionally delves into more general advice. “The early bird gets the worm” and “work hard” are principles that most people are already familiar with, and in my opinion didn’t really add value to the lessons.
Moreover, the majority of her lessons were anecdotal. While it’s helpful to some, it didn’t make the content all that relatable.
Kris claims to be a “self-made millionaire” which I found isn’t entirely true after some research. She acquired the majority of her wealth after marrying multi-millionaires, which only granted her a great deal of capital to play with, but also social clout.
Now, this isn’t me saying that Kris Jenner didn’t work hard or play a pivotal role in her family’s business endeavors. I doubt the Kardashian-Jenner name would be what it is today without her guidance.
But I would’ve appreciated a more candid discussion of the advantages she had and how she leveraged them. It would’ve offered insights for learners who might not have access to similar resources (which is more than likely since I doubt many multi-millionaires would watch this course in the first place).
To give credit where credit is due, Kris’s class does acknowledge the importance of seizing opportunities and leveraging one’s strength and connections in the business world. She also offers some advice for aspiring influencers and first-time brand developers.
I just wish she placed less emphasis on self-promotion and focused more on the practical, actionable aspects of personal branding.
Does the class keep its promises?
Yes, absolutely. Generic advice aside, Kris Jenner’s MasterClass is exactly what it says on the tin: insights into personal branding and entrepreneurship from a seasoned industry professional.
It isn’t anything revolutionary, but it provides a solid foundation for those looking to build and manage their personal brand effectively.
As a side note, Kris’s “secret sauce” isn’t all that secret. So if you subscribed to her MasterClass hoping for a revelation of some elusive formula, you’ll be sorely disappointed.
Much like many others in her industry, the secret to her success is a combination of hard work, resourcefulness, and seizing opportunities.
Is Kris Jenner’s MasterClass worth the money?
Yes if you…
- Are interested in case studies and an anecdotal teaching style
- Are eager to gain insider knowledge from one of the world’s most successful business entrepreneurs
- Are seeking guidance on how to maximize the potential of platforms like Instagram
- Are motivated to understand the art of personal branding from someone with a proven track record
- Want to develop your personal brand but struggling or unsure of how to make it happen
No if you…
- Are seeking technical, data-driven business strategies
- Prefer a structured and formal teaching style
- Aren’t interested in personal experiences or anecdotes as a part of the learning process
- Aren’t interested in the Kardashian-Jenner brand and its associated industries
- Want to improve your hands-on skills through guided steps
- Aren’t in the marketing business
Conclusion
Taking everything into consideration, I can confidently say that Kris Jenner’s MasterClass is worth the time and effort you put into it.
It has got loads of actionable takeaways, and while nothing groundbreaking, you can learn a lot from her business strategies and insights into personal branding.
